Vagaro is a cloud-based salon, spa and fitness business management solution that allows professionals to book appointments and manage various facility roles. It offers an integrated solution to manage bookkeeping, payroll, client databases and inventory management, as well as featuring email and text notifications to clients and automated email marketing.
Users can list available appointment slots, and customers can then look for salon facilities nearby and book appointments through Vagaro’s website or the Vagaro app. VagaroPro, the business app, is available for Android and iOS smartphones.
Users can create customizable promotional web pages to showcase upcoming events and special offers through Vagaro’s website or connect with their customers through email and social media platforms. Customers can also create personalized profiles with their contact information, booking history and feedback. Users can keep records of their customer service histories and generate customizable reports with graphs and charts to track business performance, customer retention and more.

My overall experience with Vagaro has been nothing but exceptional. Their customer service is very helpful when it's needed. They continue to add upgrades and needed items that are requested. They were extremely helpful to all of their accounts during the COVID-19 shutdown. Top notch in my books!!
What I like most about the Vagaro software is that it offers almost everything that you need in one program which includes inventory, scheduling, credit card processing, marketing, online store, website, forms, photos, etc. It's an all in one program that is easy to implement and use in your business.
There are only a few cons in my opinion. They need to increase the number of characters for product and service descriptions. They need to add an archive option in inventory. And they need to add an accounts payable option so you do not have to use another program.

Even my least tech savy staff love this app. It's like their own little business is their pocket.
You can update colour themes and making the app look visually pretty and personalised is also a great feature.
Overall it does what I need it to do and makes my life easier. What else could you ask for.
This system is the easiest I have used and has the most features for a decent price. Has most of the things I need and clients always comment on how super easy the online booking system is. Needless to say we get a lot of clients booking online
The mobile part of the system is the easiest I have used and you can do so much from your phone
A few things need to be customisable such as the text message system especially in Australia.
Probably needs text message marketing options as well.
It could be a little easier to add services to existing services. You currently have to pretend to checkout the client and add the service there. It's easy to delete or alter services on an existing booking but not to add the service.

Every since your last update in June of 2016 your program has not worked properly! Very very disappointed. For the price you charge.. it's defiantly not worth it. =(
Easy to use
Confirmations text do not work half the time.
Services seem to go missing.
The program doesn't always send of the confirmation texts.
Clients click the confirmation link on their end... but does not show up on the computer.
Sometimes when booking a client.. the program will book the client every single day throughout the whole schedule to the end of time... the only way to fix it.. is to reboot the program.
Occasionally the program will send out text after text to the same clients notifying them that they have an appointment. One of my clients received 14 text right after another. Talk about being a pain in the butt.
The Do Not Notify client tab does not work. When changing a clients appointment around... there is a choice to notify the client or do not notify client. This function dos not work. It always notifies the client either way.
When choosing to No Show a client.. it shows up the almost the same color as the booking color, very difficult to see the difference. It should be a totally different color not associated with the booking color. The Red and Orange is almost the same shade. Maybe No shows should have a black strip.. just a suggestion.
Beware that Vagaro fees are in USD funds.. NOT CANADIAN.
FYI... Since the last June update, I have had to contact customer support DAILY! sometimes twice a day! UGH''''
Vagaro seems to go offline a few times a month, such an inconvenience.
Their updates are done in the middle of a work day. =(
They need to get rid of all the bugs they have created with their last two updates, or put it back to the way it was. Vagaro just so you know.... bad... is much better then worse. =(
I do not recommend using this program to anyone, well not until they fix all their issues.
The only reason I am staying with it is... its so much of a hassle to change to a new company, so much work to reset up all the info.
It took me almost one month to input all the information in properly into the program. I could not imagine starting all over with another company.
But... if another company would transfer all my info.. I'd defiantly try another software company.
It's really too bad, because I believe Vagaro has potential of being a good usable software.

Overall, Vagaro has saved me so much time as the salon coordinator. It has made things that used to be tedious, time-consuming, and ineffective so simplified. Our out-dated system had limited options on many things. The auto-texting for reminder's (previously we did all reminders by calling clients) saved out life. It has saved us on no-show appts, clients showing up at wrong times, etc. We have even saved $ on the amount of appt cards we use because client's just want the text message instead of a physical card.
SO USER FRIENDLY! Our stylist's were so intimidated by getting a new software, especially after using the same, outdated one for over 15 + years. Many of them aren't the most tech-savvy individuals, but it took hardly any time at all the train them on the system. They LOVE having the ability to see their schedules from the personal smart phone/ tablet when they aren't at work. Our client's LOVE their texting reminders.
One of the main things I do wish were able to be customized would be on the daily ticket sheets we print each day. I would like to edit the amount of history for each client that is shown so that multiple pages do not print out for each client. The font is small and so i have to print it to be larger and then it ends up printing multiple unnecessary pages out.
