ChiroTouch is an electronic health records (EHR) and practice management system designed specifically for small to midsize chiropractic practices. It combines electronic health records, billing, patient scheduling, outcomes assessments and inventory management in a single, integrated suite.
The EHR has custom templates for chiropractors, along with image management, dynamic SOAP notes and real-time patient flow with room management capabilities. The EHR provides lab integration and wireless support, and it can be used on a PC or on an iPad through the CTProvider iPad app. ChiroTouch's billing application features eligibility inquiry, claim scrubbing, automated batch posting, DME billing, workers’ compensation billing and other capabilities.
The scheduling application has appointment reminders, room scheduling, patient messaging and a patient portal. The entire system is HIPAA compliant. Chiropractors can send text and email reminders to patients, while patients can use the system to fill out intake and outcomes assessment forms before their office visit.

Overall I love Chirotouch and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a smooth and easy software system to connect the front and back of the office. I feel that low or high volume offices can use this as an asset with forecasting, monthly goals, and also the use of the customization it provides to practices. This program helped us achieve going full electronic in our office, connect and improve the patient treatment notes to billing in a much more time efficient way, also it gave my staff areas where they could get involved and come up with solutions to alerts and patient notes in the provider all in one section. I highly recommend this product.
I like the ease of the program, I feel it is very user friendly and easily you can teach yourself how to navigate through it. I think the billing process in accounting is also set up very well to understand where you are at in the process with claims. I also like the customization the program offers when it comes to visits, color coding, and how you can create the system to work best for whomever is logged into the program, so the different views of the schedule area are great.
My only complaint with this software is that the reports section could be tweaked, some of the answers that come up on the monthly stats report are not correct and we always have to count them by day specifically the New Patient numbers.

We were moving from an EHR that was not working well for the clinic.
The version I have is hosted at the office. I know that EHR is going to an online platform and that is the "in thing" right now. But, with the hosted version, I own the licence and once paid off, I don't have to make that 400$ a month payment to use it.
They do not guide you on how to use the software in real life practice. Yes, they teach you what the buttons do. But knowing what the dials on an airplane mean is not the same thing as flying an airplane. They only give you access to the manual for the program if you buy their maintenance package. But, the manual is very lacking on any detailed information that makes it extremely useful. It is a very cumbersome software package to start using. Also, they do not integrate with QuickBooks. I wished that I could get the finances from this program to talk with QuickBooks.

I think they offer a great product. CT makes training new hires so much easier. You know you are with a good company when the support staff is happy and helpful. That tells me CT cares about its staff and therefore they will care about our needs.

Yes there are occasional hiccups, but the response from CT to fix things and the great customer service make it easier to deal when problems arise.

I have used it for years but have done nothing but complain about it. When its only the doctor and one staff, we don't have time to sit in the back with the server for 20 minutes trying to get someone to fix a glitch. Also, everytime my Microsoft Windows updates it messes up the reminders and stops them or we have a glitch on the software. I must spend once a week with some type of problem with the software. It's a waste but I paid so much money for it I kept it. Also every time you turn around any new feature is a fee! My sister has the same software. Long story short we both don't like it,and it has become a waste of money. We are both looking for an icloud based software that is fully integrated, including the email reminders, intake forms, and billing. Something simple that anyone can use if you go out of town or need extra help.
I like the I pad feature, I liked the patient intake forms automated in the system, I used to like the app appointment maker. You used to be able to accept a patient appointment request from your phone. It stopped working over a year ago. I like that if a patient makes an appointment on the app you can accept them in your scheduler from your ipad at home or make a new patient chart from your ipad at home. I like that the charges go straight from the doctors notes to the front desk, so there is no mistaken charges or lack thereof. I like that you can salt charges. I like that you can see the patients insurance from your notes, so you know if they have a copay or deductible and how many visits left.
This is the worse software for updates. The updates half the time don't relate to a small clinic but a clinic that mainly does PT. I have been using this software since 2004 and waiting every year for a great change. The front desk software it HORRIBLE. After 15 years you think they would have improved it. Honest to God it takes me 3-4 months to train a staff on how to use it and its just me and one staff member. I can't even have someone come in and sub because it is so difficult. You have a scheduler screen, then a check in screen then you have to go to a seperate inventory screen, All these screens are seperate, and you hope no one every accidently hits the red X and closes then screen because you have to wait 5 minutes to reboot it. Every staff person said, it is very old. The reports are useless and the most stupid thing is they use great than or lesser then when you are looking for something specific. Such as, I want all the acupuncture patients who come in or BCBS, when I search it says it is greater than, less then or equal. It's not a math problem! The doctors notes is the same way, jumping in and out of screens. I just had this issue. I was in the patients chart notes and she said two treatments ago the adjustment I made worked better. I had to close out of todays notes, hit chart note, find two days ago, read it, close out, and then go back to her note and log in, then go to plan to type it in. Sometimes jumping through screens take more time then paper.

The additional adds of software they were offered on a very timely basis, proved to be very effective for our office. We never were disappointed with the advancements made on our software to keep us technology smart. Our patients enjoyed it too!
User Friendly and ease of quick support. They have beneficial software updates with little to non at all glitches. They have an open mind to keep the software offerings up to date to keep your office with the ever changing technology. The various ways to contact support is like non-other. A great software package to work within. It's common sense.
