A Houzz Pro Converter
I've marketed on Houzz for years but have been using my original client facing software throughout it all. This year, I decided to refresh my subscriptions and got introduced to Houzz Pro and WOW! I am blown away by the upgrades of this service and how easy it is tp use.
Vorteile
I like how intuitive it is and how inclusive. The service as a whole could take me from concept to completion with each design project.
Nachteile
I've only been in in for the month, so I'm learning as I go, but so far there has been a lot of help to understand the details and services. Responses are fast.

Houzz is a Scam
Terrible experience. Have a feeling most of the 5 star reviews are paid for. Can't go to google to leave a review because they seem to have paid google to remove that option. Now it makes sense where my money went. To protect them from negative reviews. Shady company and even creepier employees.
Vorteile
The sales pitch. They made it sound like the leads would start flowing in! More like my money flowed into their account and they took a vacation!
Nachteile
Horrible customer service. Lock you into a contract then don't provide any leads.

Great product, still working out some issues
It's a great software program for a residential remodeler who needs estimating, takeoff, and other project management features.
Vorteile
I like the ease of set-up, the multiple available features, the availability of help and feedback from Houzz associates. For a company our size (2-5 employees) it is an affordable alternative to other project management software that is usually exorbitantly expensive.
Nachteile
Some of the features are still a little wonky, but the company is still actively trying to improve the product so it's not a huge problem.

UDA is super expensive and we didn't use all the features for the price. Houzz has more applicable features for our company and we've worked with Houzz in the past so we already had a basis of trust.Gründe für den Wechsel zu Houzz Pro

Former Ivy User Back to Houzz Pro
Very positive. It meets many of the needs I have as a boutique full-service interior design firm. I have tried many other software programs and Houzz Pro is one of the easiest and most functional.
Vorteile
I was an original Ivy user years ago, and recently came back to Houzz Pro after trying many other interior design software programs that were good, but not great. The 3D room scanner and floor plan generator was what drew me back - it's been such a useful tool! While I don't use Houzz for lead generation or client communication, I do send my clients their portal links to view their project details (selections, moodboards, etc.) live, which has been a great feature.
Nachteile
The 3D room scanner has glitches; I've noticed that in very large spaces (ie. an open living/dining room in a large A-frame house with 25' h ceilings) the scan was so inaccurate that it was useless. It's also not able to scan new construction (ie. framed-in walls with no drywall).
