Vorteile

Der Einrichtungsprozess war extrem einfach. Besonders gut ist der WYSIWYG-Editor zur Gestaltung der Anzeige. Sehr hilfreich ist auch der Zeitplan, der es ermöglicht die Anzeigetafel außerhalb der Bürozeiten auszuschalten.

Nachteile

Mit der Einbindung von hochauflösenden Videos gab es einige Probleme sodass schlussendlich Videos komprimiert werden mussten um Abstürze und ruckelnde Bilder zu vermeiden.

Vorteile

Die Einfachheit wie alles abläuft, vom Anmelden bis zu der Versendung des Players. verständliches Backend.

Nachteile

Man muss erst blicken wie das mit den Playlisten und dann mit der Zeitleise funktioniert. Die Mail-Adresse steht Yodeck dran und nicht meine Mail Adresse. Da ich dies in Zukunft für meine Kunden mehr machen möchte, ist dies natürlich nicht so gut.

Wir benutzen es als Begrüßungsbildschirm für unsere Kunden und ich bin sehr zufrieden damit wie einfach es einzustellen ist

Keine Kontras vorhanden, bin bisher zufrieden.

Es gibt kaum negatives zu berichten. Manchmal ist das Setup der Playlists kniffelig.

I was looking for a digital marketing platform that I could promote to a particular niche market and Yodeck provided most of the features I was looking for. Ease of management, workspaces and user privileges all make this ideal.

Nachteile

The only problem I experienced was with the scheduling module. Not being able to set a schedule to occur on a particular day for a period means a lot of additional manual scheduling.

This product does everything that I dreamed of as I was searching for Digital TV software. I needed to be able to easily get many different types of content displayed, i.e. flyers, weather, scrolling news, video clips, Power Point slideshows, and more. Yodek hit a home run for me, there is NOTHING that I need to display that I can't put on our screens! Pricing was a huge factor, it was a no-brainer once I found the software worked for us to pony up for a year.

Nachteile

In the beginning, I had a tough time getting the Raspberry Pi and my TVs together, but I'm limited in the tech side anyway. With a few short minutes with tech support, I was up and running. There is definitely a learning curve, as with all software, but well worth it!

It is very difficult to find software that I consider perfect...but YODECK meets all the requirements!

If your looking for something simple to use not hard to learn advanced features than this is for you. Plus the fact that the equipment supplied works amazing and really makes your visuals pop. Can use the built in tools or upload your own creations. Inexpensive and a great business feature.

Nachteile

I really can’t complain about the system. Haven’t had to use support as plenty of info easily accessible on youtube and simple to use.

Liked the hardware. Seemed reliable and powerful compared to other setups.

The setup procedure is very easy and intuitive for both web and physical players.The configuration is also intuitive, with a broad choice of layout possibilities and widgets.The overall cost of Yodeck is low, with a free account to test everything out, and subscriptions starting at $8, even providing all needed players for free with annual subscriptions.

Nachteile

For now, the only issue/downside I see is the limited choice of languages (I would like to see Italian added to the list). In addition, the available languages are not translated 100% completely and correctly. For example, in French, some phrases are still in English and some available translations do not match the English phrases.

All cloud based to simple to update and sync to players. We've replaced our entire digital signage screens with TVs running Yodecks behind them. We've also managed to create one incorporated with a free to air setup TV box so staff can enjoy TV whilst we overlay important messages.

Around the school site we use them to display messages for students, live feeds from Twitter, the weather, time and news. Very powerful and very easy to use and manage.

Nothing. Every works well for us. Plenty of guides online helping if you get stuck too.

Vorteile

Coming from Samsung Magicinfo, Yodeck was far superior in almost every aspect. Wide varieties of media are playable as part of the slide deck, including PDF, images, videos and remote HTML. Our screen sat dead waiting for a solution before we found Yodeck.

Nachteile

The software does require a connection to the home server to operate, would be nice to have a fully offline mode. I haven't had a chance to test how the system would work in a fully offline environment.

Compatibility with our PI boxes, outstanding user interface, great customer support.

Vorteile

Ease of use (for admins and users), ease of deployment, feature set, and support. There really isn't any other category that Yodeck doesn't smash the competition on.

Nachteile

Player hardware options. The software is built around Debian/Raspbian, but it would be great to have a Windows option for flexibility or signage requiring more hardware horsepower.

It's just GREAT! It solved all of our problems, for free.

Nachteile

I have yet to discover any cons... The only problem is that I have to take a clean install of my OLD Raspberry PI every 2-3 month. But I reccon this is the PIs fault, not the system.

They made it extremely easy to setup and get access to templates or create your own content. Their support documentation is well written and easy to follow. I had issues when we had a power outage and the software crashed. They give you a few steps on putting the image on a usb and within 10 minutes we were up and running since the settings don't change.

Nachteile

The only con I feel is creating custom content can be difficult. I am biased since I use Adobe products, but I do wish there was a way to create tables easier and be able to use a template for every area. It seems to limit to where you can schedule the custom template slide but now add it right into the playlist.

Ability to pre-program players and ship them to end users with simple instructions to get online, and then be able to manage their content myself or provide end user a login to do so

Being able to see if a TV is offline and even getting a screenshot. Having multiple locations that can each have their own separate content. Being able to integrate stand alone slides along with videos.

Nachteile

More options would be nice with the "ticker" and "time and date" features, such as fonts and colors.

The fact that each individual display can be provided with individual content or combined into groups and locations ensures that a wide range of solutions can be implemented.

The schedules and playlists are a particularly powerful tool for delivering the right content to the right place at the right time.
With yodeck this is solved much more efficiently than we know from other systems.

User roles and work areas make it possible for technically less experienced people to provide content for the displays without jeopardizing the security and functionality of the entire system.
Anyone who knows other solutions knows that this cannot be taken for granted.

We are happy to now not only be able to use the various possibilities ourselves, but also to have found an extremely interesting new product for our customers.

Nachteile

In the beginning, some processes were much more complex, not clearly explained, poorly labeled or misleadingly translated. In addition, some functions that were important to us were missing.

However, since the software is continuously being improved, these problems could gradually be resolved, so that Yodeck has now become a powerful tool at a fair price that flexibly adapts to the needs of the users.

For digital menu boards, we would like to be able to show and hide content in an animated manner and to move it across the screen with keyframes, a timeline or such.
