Kahoot ist sehr benutzerfreundlich. Alle Funktionen sind leicht zu überblicken und einfach zu finden. Das Tolle an Kahoot ist, dass man es mit so vielen Leuten gleichzeitig benutzen kann. Dadurch ist es für verschieden Situationen, wie z.B. ein Quiz in der Schule oder auch das lernen allein zu Hause perfekt geeignet. Des weiteren ist die ganze Benutzeroberfläche sehr Comic-Artic gestaltet, was Kahoot auch sehr Kinderfreundlich macht.

Nachteile

Ein Nachteil ist, dass man für viele Fragen, egal auf welcher Sprache, eine Grundkenntnis der Englischen Sprache braucht. Es werden viele Anglizismen verwendet. Außerdem könnten die Funktionen für Solo-Player noch ausgeprägter sein.

Kahoot included many features to attract people to their platform. It has attractive user interface on their website. This makes our work easier either we creating a game or playing a game. Kahoot made our quizzes and assignments more joyful to do when compared with traditional way of writing quizzes and assignments. This saves our time lot. Since the results of the game generated automatically after finishing the game, this helps lecturers as well. No time waste for correcting and marking answer sheets. Another good feature I saw is that the correct answer of each question will be shown after answering the question. Other than the correct answer, detailed information about the answers given from the community is shown with relevant number of choices for each answer with a bar graph. After the game we can see the top three players who scored most. Other rankings can be found through the result sheet. These features are really fascinating.

I have found some issues when using this platform. We need good internet connection to use Kahoot. I am disconnected few times when using this. But this is not a fault of Kahoot. Questionnaire must be re-started if the sever faced any connection problem. Only the symbols related to the answers will be shown on players’ display. Sometimes this can be messing watching relevant symbol again and again before confirming answer. Only multiple choice questions can be included into the question list. I think it will be more useful if they include more answering formats such as text answers. Sometimes one person that needs to play the game may not have any device to play. However these types of issues are very rare on these days since everyone have their own smartphone with good internet connection.

There are so many games to choose from and if somethings not quite right, games can be very easily edited or even created. Games are so fun to play and even fun to host. What kahoot is missing, which keeps me from loving it even more, is a way to track performance via google classroom or other educational management systems. Kahoot can be launched with google classroom, but then the data from the games isn't sent back to google classroom. So classroom talks to Kahoot, but for whatever reason Kahoot doesn't talk back to google. I reached out to Kahoot many times about this and I get the same answer that this is not a feature they are interested in providing. What a shame.

What also happens often is players use hurtful and offensive and inappropriate nicknames. This is quite common in schools but can also happen in the workplace. As far as I know, there is no way to track this. Kahoot offers a friendly nickname generator to avoid this, but then there is no way to track performance. So essentially Kahoot which could be so powerful in assessment and training, is simply reduced to a really fun game or just basic enreichment. Again...What a shame.

The best thing about Kahoot is that it is extremely easy to use. It was very easy to create quizzes, discussions and surveys and share them with my students. It also allowed me to track progress and easily assign tasks. The game also allows you to customize questions and content to fit your student's curriculum and needs. It was also perfect for team building activities as it facilitates collaboration and communication. The game also has a nice user interface and is very interactive. It is also great for motivating students and making learning fun. I also liked the fact that it is available in multiple languages ​​so I can use it to teach multiple languages. Additionally, the game is available on both his web and mobile platforms, making it easy to access from any device.

The only downside I found with Kahoot is that it's pretty limited. There are only a few types of quizzes, discussions, and polls available, and customization options are fairly limited. Quiz preparation is very intuitive and it's perfect that you can find already prepared quizzes to use. I use it not only for lectures with students but also for informal meeting. A big advantage is that It is quick to start the quiz with no need for the attendants to register anywhere.

I sometimes need to put a video instead of the question and there is no way to set the delayed start of voting (after watching the video) - fortunately it can be solved by making one slide with the video and the next slide with just a question. Also it is quite expensive tool when you don't use it regularly.

It is so easy to create Kahoot! games, however big or detailed you want to make the game. There are plenty of options to customize your creations, and can creatively be put to use. This software is a very effective tool in polling the students of a high school, and collecting useful data from them about decisions we make marketing in the school. Obviously, there is a great use in the software for playing fun and educational games too.

Nachteile

Kahoot moves fast, and the dropout rate from games is limiting in having consistent data. A lot of players can slow down the games trying to load.

Although it has a very simple concept, it's bright colors, catchy music, and point system makes it seem more like you're on a game show rather than powering through a test that no one wanted to take. Since most people have some sort of device sitting in their pockets that connects to the internet, accessing Kahoot is as simple as going to the website and entering a code. Also allowing people to choose their own names is a fun way for people to express humor (although sometimes it can be an issue). Because so many teachers use Kahoot as a way to review what their students have learned, there are a variety of different topics and quizzes to choose from. You don't have to manually type and make your own Kahoot if your subject is somewhat commonly taught. And having such a massive library of quizzes ranging from "Name That Disney Princess" to "Name The Capitals of These States" allows for variation between subjects. So Kahoot can be a learning tool as well as a fun little break for students.

In all honesty, Kahoot does not have too much to improve upon. Its website is user friendly and straightforward. However, I do have some suggestions for improvements. My first would be to add more music or allow the choice of using a selection of songs that have the proper copyright claims or are copyright free. Although catchy, it can become old a little quicker if the same song is played for every quiz. My second would be to add more than just a quiz. One of my ideas was to have one student step up to the classroom smartboard/projector and have all the other students turn around or close their eyes. The student would then be given a word/words that relate to the subject. Once the student knows what their word/words are all the other students would turn around or open their eyes and the student upfront would have to draw whatever word/words they got. The drawing would be projected on the screen and the other students have to type whatever they think the answer is. The fastest correct answer gets the most points. I feel like Kahoot is a great idea but should have more content. Nevertheless, Kahoot is always going to be a great activity for anyone.

Kahoot! is an engaging and interactive website and application for the students because I think it stimulates something in theirselves to be competitive, since Kahoot! have this kind of feature that it is a quiz for the students yet in the end there is a winning top 3 who are able to andwer the questions correctly and the fastest. Also, another thing that I think that the students do not find Kahoot! boring is because of its colorful and creative which is also not too distracting for the students so that they can still focus on a specific activity being done in the Kahoot! Lastly, another favorite feature of the Kahoot! is its user friendly interface both for the teacher and the students. In my experience, I actually use this application in my demo teaching and my students are elementary grade 6 students; using thing application is actually an advantage since it is easy to use, thus I can give them a simple instruction which is in turn very time efficient since we all know that we need to manage time because each lesson in each subjects should only last for 1 hour.

Everything is actually good in Kahoot! however, there are times that both the teacher and students are having difficulty using this when there internet connection slow down. I remember a report that some students are able to see the questions and the answers very quickly while the others are still not able to see the options to answer even though the timer to submission of answers already started. So I think, relying on the Kahoot! itself as a reliable assessment should not be the only option because we cannot say that the top 1 of a certain activity in a kahoot is really the one who excel in a particular topic especially if we do not consider those students that can actually do the same thing yet they have no stable internet connection.

The thing that I love most about this software is that users are able to create polls with different types of answers for free. I believe that it is a great way to enhance the learning process. A lot of my teachers in high school, as well as college, have used Kahoot as a way to keep us students engaged. It is a great asset to use in the method of interactive learning. Apart from using it in school, I have also used it to have fun with friends. I have created many quizzes that pertain to me and my friend group specifically which always leaves us having a good time. This leads me to the next thing that I absolutely love about this website/app: it is entirely customizable. I am able to create a quiz based on any topic I like. I also love that there is a search bar where I am able to look up any topic and find quizzes based on that topic (and these are all quizzes made by other users which I think is fantastic).

Nachteile

I think the thing that I like least about this software is that it does glitch from time to time. For example, when I am answering a quiz live and I have answered a question correctly and within the allocated time given, the system will tell me that I answered the question incorrectly. However, these glitches don't happen very often which is something I am very thankful for.

What I like most about Kahoot! is the engagement I get from my students. I use this tool as an entrance slip, a way to get students diving into the content the moment they walk in the door. As soon as students see the Kahoot! lobby on the screen, they dash to their seats and enter the game pin. It isn't flashy or complicated, but the competition style of the tool appeals to students. It is really nice to be able to review material at the end as well! My personal favorite feature, however, is the ability to duplicate and edit any existing "game"!

What I like least about the software is the dashboard for controlling and creating games. Until a user gets familiar with how to work the tool, it can look confusing and messy. There is an awful lot on the screen at one time, that is for sure. Fortunately, this issue is overcome with experience. It is also nice that this is behind the scenes, so it doesn't interfere with gameplay at all.

The fact this software is free and that it offers 'pro' and 'paid' features that are just not present in other types of quiz generation software. Its all web based so no downloading required, unless you use the app with learners. Incredibily easy to setup your own quiz and equally as useful in duplicating ready made quizzes by other teachers/mentors.

Sometimes the use of the colour/shapes to distinguish the answers chosen has been reportedly a bit confusing when the learners are trying to chose the answers and compete with each other for the best /fastest score. Its a minor observation but one that has come up a few times.

I adore Kahoot! because it engages my students with reviewing material through a digital interactive platform. They love the concept of “racing” each other, and I like that they also have to option to share a device and work as a team on Kahoot!. The program also lets them pick team names, which they adore.

I don’t like that if a student accidentally logs out of Kahoot, they cannot rejoin the game like they can in other platforms.

Students don't even know that they are learning! It is easy to search available Kahoots or to make your own. Kahoot! also makes it easy to share lessons among users in your district. Kahoot! makes it easy to import image, video, and sound files to perk up your Kahoot!

For what it is, I do find it pricey. There are other game based programs that are cheaper, but I like Kahoot! the best.

The first time I used this tool was thanks to the recommendation of a third party and I was delighted with its functionality and dynamism. It is very helpful in getting your meeting audience to actively listen and contribute in a meaningful way. If you are a teacher it is quite easy to implement this software in your classes, since it helps your students to have more retention and have fun.

Nachteile

I think it could be more intuitive for new users as it requires a bit of practice but it is not a big deal. Maybe a more detailed walkthrough about the product functions could be added so that the user has the full knowledge of the secondary tools they can use to achieve a complete experience. I also think it could be very useful to have the questions implemented in the kahoot reflected on the screen of each meeting attendee/student as the dependency on certain virtual meeting software can become cumbersome.

The quick paced and catchy music keeps players interested in playing and hopefully winning the game. I feel like the score count after each question motivates students/players to complete their part in studying. The process of making a Kahoot! is very simple and students can make kahoots to share and play with each other. Kahoot! is a great way for students to discover gaps in their knowledge when studying for a test. They can note down which questions they have missed and at a later date go back and review those questions.
In addition, there are already a ton of Kahoots! made on all kinds of topics (science, history, english, math, languages, hobbies) so if a user didn't have enough time to make a Kahoot, they could use one that has already been made.

I don't really have anything negative to say about Kahoot!! Growing up, my teachers have always used it for my classes and as I have students of my own, I like to create Kahoots or use pre-made Kahoots as a fun way or learning for the students!

Kahoot+ & Drops is an amazing way to do collaborate and learn a new language. Can use this for training in the institution very effectively using Kahoot.

When comes to subscription it's bit expensive, and loading takes time, would prefer a fast loading mostly. Though you can do most of the customization free version limits users in trying the new features. The new product update blog is great but would prefer step by step instructions.

What I like the most about this software is that you can make quizzes, This can involve different topics from different subjects or even make it more personal, there’s many ways that you can use the software and you have different possibilities, but the point is that you always keep learning something new, this software has helped me a lot because I can make a quiz so that it lets me know how much of the company (what we do, what we are) does my workers know.

Customization, that’s one of the main features that this solvent needs to put all the work, we do have some options to customize our quizzes but we need more so we can make more efficient the way that we learn.
